TurbulenceFD in Surrogates
Turbulence Fluid Dynamics (TFD) has it's first feature film appearance in the hands of Marc Leidy,
who created close-up smoke simulations for "one of the most important shots in movie".
"When I saw how smooth the results looked with TFD, I had to give it a try for this new shot ... and TFD came through with flying colors.", says Marc.
"TFD has been fast, generally. I have been running ... a total of 2 hours per iteration (sim+render) at 12 million voxels."
Surrogates, a Touchstone Pictures production starring Bruce Willis, opens in cinemas starting 24 September 2009.

TurbulenceFD for Cinema 4D and LightWave 3D
Turbulence Fluid Dynamics (TFD) makes high quality simulations of fire, smoke, dust and other gaseous phenomena available directly in CINEMA 4D and LightWave 3D.
TFD is exceptionally easy to use, optimized for performance and scalability and does all that without any compromise on visual quality.

Turbulence2D for After Effects
Turbulence.2D brings high-quality fluid dynamics to After Effects.
Several channels of arbitrary video input provide maximum flexibility
for creation of fire, smoke and a huge variety of other truly organic effects.
Check out the gallery for a small taste of the possibilities.
